Tableside Shabbat / Soup Shabbat Dinner!

TBD Social Hall

Tonight at 6:30 PM

Join your TBD friends for something completely new!  This special evening is for learners of all ages as we pray, sing, and delve a bit deeper into the meaning and history of our Shabbat evening prayers and enjoy a potluck soup and salad dinner together.

Group candle lighting at 6:30 PM. Tableside Shabbat service to begin as soon as we all get seated.

Sign up if you can bring a favorite soup or large salad enough to share with 10 people or provide a treat for Oneg right after the service/ dinner is completed. If you want to also bring a Challah to share that is a great idea!

If you are not able to cook or contribute food, join us anyway! Just your presence will be a wonderful contribution.

Candlesticks from home would be a lovely addition to our “tableside Shabbat” so feel free to bring a pair if you have them.

An optional mitzvah will take place after the service -we will package and freeze leftover soup for Caring Community meals to use for those in our community in need of comfort from illness or after a death in family.

RSVP appreciated so we can be sure to have enough for all.

Questions about food - contact Mindy Fricke

Questions about the service - contact Rabbi Gutterman

Sign up to bring Soup/Salad or Oneg treat and to RSVP
