From Our Brethren In Israel - Thank You!

We want to thank everyone that donated to the Israel Emergency Fund.

It literally saved lives, and we want to tell you why.

Givati soldier Daniel Yitzchaki, with his group of 21- —and 22-year-old soldiers, had just finished on the day before Sukkot their three years of service in the IDF and handed in all their weapons and gear. They were serving in Sabar Company, Beinshim Division.

Literally, a week later, when the attack of October 7th happened, their unit was called back into service.

Important Date Change for

Yadin Gellman Lecture

Yadin was shot in his chest and shoulder three times on October 7 and underwent surgery.

Unfortunately, after checking with his doctor this week, he must return for an additional surgery. His surgery is scheduled for the same time he was supposed to speak for our Chabad House on April 10.

He is passionate about sharing his story; we want to hear it. He will return when he gets better.

New Speaker!

Please join us for an evening with Lieutenant Colonel Daniel & Tsofiya Jacob

Wednesday, April 10 at 7:30 PM at Chabad House

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Daniel’s family moved to Israel when he was 3 years old.

After success in the IDF special forces, he became an officer and led his soldiers in the Intifada War.

During the last 6 months since October 7th, Daniel has led the 600 soldiers under him with tremendous courage.

His unit #9221 has been very active in Judea and Samaria, protecting the local Jewish communities as well as arresting and neutralizing many of the Hamas threats.

Daniel and his wife Tsofiya will share their firsthand experience with us.

RSVP: Email RabbiLevi@chabadwmc.org

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

*P.S. The Yadin Gellman lecture originally planned is being postponed due to additional surgery needed for his wounds. As soon as he is better, he will return. We will keep you updated.
