Sometimes all it takes is a circle of friends. Friends who get together and decide to make good things happen and to enjoy doing it! That’s exactly what our new Chaverim is all about.

This past year our Chaverim have been behind the scenes of our many kiddushes, programs and fundraising efforts like Shana Tova Sweets, First Responder Appreciation Drive, Purim Shalach Manot and our Passover Bake Sale & Chai Tea. Next up is the Outside In Picnic for the Opening Day of Midrasha, our shared religious school with Temple B’nai B’rith.

As we move towards a new year, the momentum is building for our Chaverim to create more ways for our members and friends to connect, socialize, and do good things together Jewishly. Ultimately this promises to greatly enhance the quality of our shared experience as members of Temple Israel and the Jewish community here in NEPA.

Chaverim is seeking volunteers to join them in this endeavor in the coming year.
