Large parts of the U.S., from Texas to North Carolina

According to the Associated Press, 39 states and 98 million Americans were under severe weather risk this week. Four deaths and dozens more have been injured, and thousands of homes and businesses were without power due to severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, impacting parts of the U.S., from North Carolina to Texas. The Associated Press also reported that the region has experienced 300 tornadoes since April 25th, the most since 2011 and the second-most recorded.
