Dear Residents,
As you are aware, the City is currently working on transitioning from septic to sewer in your area (Marked by Phase 1 in yellow above). The City received approval from Miami-Dade County for the Sewer gravity and force main installation as well as for the water main extension. The contractor is expecting to have materials such as pipes and manholes delivered on Monday, August 19, 2024, to the staging area of the South Florida Water Management District easement located at the street end of SW 58th Avenue. Excavation and pipe installation will be underway on Monday, August 26th 2024 (Work area highlighted-Hours of work are 7:30am-4:30pm) and the contractor will utilize the street end right-of-way of SW 60th Avenue between SW 85th Street and SW 84th Street to place excavated material before hauling it to the job site. The project timeline is 270 calendar days from July 22nd, 2024.
