Dear Residents,
As you are aware, the City is currently working on transitioning from septic to sewer in your area (Marked by Phase 1 in yellow above). The plans for the project are currently under review by Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department, Fire Department, and Health Department. The City anticipates approval of the plans by Miami-Dade County in July 2024, which will allow for the project to be underway in August 2024. The construction timeline is approximately 270 days.
As the project progresses, the City will continue to provide our residents with updates. If you have any other questions, please contact our team at septictosewer@southmiamifl.gov.
