Community DRUM CIRCLE

September 15th 2-4 pm in Hyannis at the Town Green Bandstand.

Bring all manner of Drums, percussion, pots and pans... what ever you can express yourself with, be it percussion, sousaphone, Alto-gloop, stringed instruments, African drums, Caribbean drums, Asian drums, Native-American drums, Middle-eastern drums, Digeridoos and everything in between. Tuesday Djembe Classes in Harwich.



Brian Porter is now teaching West African Drumming classes in Harwich. Tuesdays, he has a beginner djembe technique class from 4:30- 5:45 and an intermediate class from 6-8 @ Harwich Community Center. For more info contact Brian at djembefola727@gmail.com

We are currently looking for experienced djembe players and/or Drummer/percussionists to fill out the intermediate class.

Please join musician and drummer Sam Holmstock (samholmstockdrumming.com) and Kripalu Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide Andrea Higgins for a unique two-part immersive outdoor experience including a drumming lesson and mindful guided walk through the serene trails of Cornelius Pond Woodlands. Immerse yourself in music and meditation while surrounded by nature. Pause to appreciate the forest filled with tall oaks, pines, and sassafras trees, a coastal plain pond, and a meadow teeming with songbirds, dragonflies, and butterflies. Rekindle your sense of curiosity, discovery, and wonder, and close your morning adventure by enjoying the healing and therapeutic benefits of a drum circle.

Drums and chairs will be provided.
