Hello My Beautiful Parents, Caregivers, Siblings & More,
Who love and care for amazing neuro-diverse Black Children, Youth & Adults. It’s the founder Ardena, momma to a beautiful Black Boy on the Autism Spectrum.
We are excited to get back to our programming after what was and continues to be a Hot summer, especially for most of us in the Inland Empire & San Gabriel Valley.
Our Parenting Black Children (PBC) program is focused on serving those families who identify or have individuals they care for who are Black/African American and/or of African descent. Our communities have and continue to experience racial trauma associated to disparities and deficits in systems of care that should be designed to provide equitable access to services.
PBC is an emerging network of parents, providers, community and more that come together to empower each other by sharing our experiences, our expertise and our compassion and of course Truth to Power. Our hope is that together our strength will move the mountains of obstacles that have stood in the way of services, access and equity.
Upcoming Programming:
-
Parent/Caregiver Support Groups
- Virtual Drop In Hours
- Wellness Spa Day
-
Parent Advocacy, Leadership & Training Coalition
-
Parenting Black Babies in collaboration with Carousel Development
-
Cultural Humility: Black Voices & Developmental Disability Symposium
