Service League of Green Bay is a non-profit organization, made up of 30 dedicated women bound by a single goal:
to meet the physical, educational, and emotional needs of the children in Brown County by providing volunteerism and financial support.
We are women, mothers, daughters and friends. We are activists, philanthropists, dreamers and believers… and we invite women of all races and religions who demonstrate an interest in volunteerism to join us.
I am honored to serve as the President of Service League of Green Bay during our 2019-2020 membership year. We look forward to continuous improvement and exciting changes to how our organization can make a greater impact in our community.
Thank you for your interest in our mission and our organization. Help us improve the greater Green Bay community. As a 501(c)3 organization, we rely on your support to fulfill our mission and projects.
Are you interested in helping us by becoming a member? If you are a woman looking to develop or improve your leadership skills, make a positive impact in our community, and have fun with remarkable women while doing so, Service League is for you!!
Please reach out to us:
Warmest regards,

Back to School Store
Highlights
As we look back on the success of our 27th Annual Back to School Store, we would like to say Thank You to our members, volunteers, agencies, donors, companies, and associate members who worked countless hours in preparation for our annual event held on Wednesday, August 7th at our new location UW-Green Bay Kress Events Center.
We invited 1,600 children to attend this year's Back to School Store, we expected to serve 1,466 children and we were able to serve 1,211 children the day of the event.
Those 1,211 children had the opportunity to go through the Back to School Store to pick out a new outfit, shoes, socks, underwear and a backpack filled with school supplies. They also received a dental and vision screening.
In addition we provided 1,500 middle school students with a backpack filled with essential school supplies to ensure their success on their first day of school.
We would also like to give a special Thank You to Amanda Wery and Annie Herzog our Back to School Store Chairs for their dedication to creating a spectacular event!
Thank You for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2020!

For The Children
Award from
Encompass
|
|
Encompass awarded their first For The Children award to Service League of Green Bay earlier this summer.
Until about 1970, Service League essentially managed, decorated, shoveled sidewalks, raised money, cooked the meals, substituted for teachers just about everything.
Only a handful of these Service League volunteers had careers or worked outside the home, but they had empathy for moms who needed a quality environment for their children while they were at work.
Encompass thanked the more than 500 current and past members of Service League of Green Bay for caring for and preparing our children for success in school!
