Dear MMAMTA Members, 

 

It’s my pleasure to invite you to a potluck event introducing new MU Assistant Professor of Piano and Pedagogy, Dr. Curtis Pavey, and his wife, Dr. Helena Hyesoo Kim on Saturday, September 16th at 11:15am in MU’s Fine Arts Building.  


They have graciously offered to give a presentation on communication practice “What We Say Matters: A Discussion of Communication Practices of Music Instructors.”


The proposed schedule of the event is: 

September 16, 2023 – MU School of Music, Fine Arts Building 

            11:15am drop off your potluck item and socialize (FAB 146) 

            11:30am “What We Say Matters” Presentation – Pavey/Kim (FAB 145) 

            12:00pm-ish Potluck 

 

*Upon request, print Handbook will be handed out. RSVP.


This event is open to the public – we hope to invite potential members into our organization!  Please tell or bring a friend!  


Can I ask that if you are planning to attend, you just reply to this email, and if possible let me also know what you potluck item you plan to bring.

  • 17 Sept - MMAMTA Preview Recitals: [Columbia] 2-4pm, Rock Bridge Christian Church; [Jefferson City] 2:30pm, Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
