Choosing an expert clear bra installer in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area is just like choosing a medical professional for yourself or your family. It takes some research and some "word of mouth" recommendations from trusted colleagues. But what should you look for when you are doing your research?

The first thing to look for in an expert Dallas clear bra installer, is the longevity of the installer's business. How long have they been installing clear bras and is that their core business or do they just dabble in clear bra installation. Since 1999 all Speed Shield installs are hand trimmed clear bras, this is what we know and all we do, period. We have the most experience in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and it is what our customers expect from us. It takes a very steady hand from our highly trained installers to do this confidently.

Since I started Speed Shield back in 1999, one of the services I provide is fixing other installers' clear bra mistakes. How do bad clear bra installations happen? Well, bad clear bra installations mainly happen for the following reasons:

1. An installer uses a pre-cut kit that doesn't exactly fit the area needed to be protected. This lack of protection leaves edges exposed and vulnerable.

2. An inexperienced installer damages the vehicle's paint job with a blade or misses crucial coverage spots.

3. An installer cuts corners by using cheap film that does not protect the vehicle and the film begins to yellow, crack and peel very soon after installation.

We encourage all of our current and potential customers to do their research before choosing a clear bra installation shop. If you are purchasing a new vehicle you can ask for a Speed Shield clear bra to be installed or ask for the name of the company that will be installing your clear bra. Over 50% of the exotic dealerships in DFW recommend Speed Shield for a clear bra installation.

We would rather install a hand-trimmed, custom clear bra on your vehicle first, rather than remove a terrible clear bra and install an excellent Speed Shield clear bra, second.
