Oktoberfest 2024 was a big success with proceeds benefiting The Brothers of Mercy Campus foundation. More than 300 runners participated in the 5K race on Friday, Sept. 6 with a few hundred more joining them for the after-race party. The rain held off for the race with the massive tent providing shelter from the drizzle later in the evening.

Chef Kyle Higgins and his staff prepared a huge German food feast featuring Bratwurst, German potato salad, sautéed red cabbage and crème puffs. There was plenty of Hofbrauhaus German beer and Riesling wine.

Music was provided by “The Polka Boys” the house band from Hofbrauhaus restaurant in Buffalo. There were gift baskets to raffle and a silent auction. The event is one of the major fundraising events benefiting the Campus Foundation each year.

Thank you to everyone who attended, ran & walked to make it a memorable night supporting the Campus Foundation!
