The revitalization of Valley Fair Mall continues with the
grand openings of Petco and In-N-Out Burger in July and
Frogurt-frozen yogurt cafe in August. These new businesses in West
Valley City are part of the Mall's largest phase of redevelopment,
which includes more than 100,000 square feet of new and remodeled
stores.
The following businesses are coming soon to the Valley Fair
Mall:
- Sushi Monster: opening September 2010 (2,330 square feet).
Sushi Monster is West Valley City's newest sushi bar.
- Pretzelmaker: opening September 2010 (1,200 square feet).
Pretzelmaker's first franchise opened 18 years ago and the Valley
Fair location is 12th in the owner's portfolio.
- Ross Dress For Less: opening October 2010 (30,000 square
feet). Ross is the nation's second largest off-price retailer with
revenues of $6.5 billion.
- N.Y.P.D. Pizzeria: opening October 2010 (3,000 square feet).
NYPD is the fastest growing New York pizza and deli franchise in
the Utah Market.
- Rue 21: opening November 2010 (4,500 square feet). "rue"
comes from the French word for "street" while "21" represents the
age that everyone wants to be! Rue 21 promises to be fashionable,
fresh, young and affordable.
- Caf� Zupas: opening Fall 2010 (3,400 square feet). Caf� Zupas
is a gourmet soup, salad, sandwich and dessert eatery with seven
locations along the Wasatch Front.
- The Children's Place: opening Spring 2011 (4,100 square feet).
The Children's Place is the leader in children's specialty apparel
in the country targeting merchandise for newborn to 14 years
old.
- Famous Footwear: opening March 2011 (8,000 square feet).
Famous Footwear is the number one consumer driven footwear company
in the country.
In addition to these restaurants and retailers, the Valley
Fair Mall is also anticipating the construction of a frontage road,
providing direct access to the center from I-215. Construction is
slated to commence Spring 2011. Once the entire redevelopment is
completed, Valley Fair Mall will be an approximate 1 million square
foot super-regional shopping and entertainment center.
