What Makes a Good Pitch Deck with Yasmin Mistry

In-person at The Documentary Forum in Harlem

A media pitch deck is a series of slides/images that present your film idea, your production team, and your plans. These days, it can be an important part of your film proposal, along with your sample.

Yasmin Mistry, filmmaker, animator, programmer, advocate - and pitch deck specialist - will talk about what makes a good deck, and will select a few of the submitted pitch decks to critique and suggest revisions. With your RSVP, you will receive a submission link for your deck - a few will be reviewed in person at the talk. But whether you have a deck or not - or haven't even thought about making one - come and find out.

Join us in person on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 6:30 PM at Shepard Hall, 140th St and Convent Avenue, Room 290, City College of New York. Take #1 to 137th street or ABCD to 145th Street. Light Refreshments served.

Shepard Hall is wheelchair accessible with 2 elevators. For other accessibility needs and questions email workshop@twn.org.
