Blueberry Girls find home at Spoutwood Farm!

Eleanor Justice, one of the stewards of Ravens Blueberry Farm, announced that her campaign to save the blueberry farm and transform it into a food forest has evolved, and is headed in an exciting new direction.

After more than a year of fundraising, the generous contributions made to the campaign still fell way short of the purchase price of the blueberry farm.

Eleanor reached out to Spoutwood Farm (home of the annual Fairie Festival and the Mother Earth Fall Festival) to discuss partnering to establish a smaller food forest on Spoutwood land.

The board of Spoutwood Farm, a 501c3 educational nonprofit farm, approved Eleanor's proposal in August.
