As I write this, we have just finished our annual meeting. It was a great time as we came together and rejoiced in what God is doing through the churches of the Middle Baptist Association. As your associational missionary, I appreciate the opportunity and support I receive from you as we are able to work together to advance the kingdom and minister to those in need on behalf of Christ.

One of the purposes for which the association exists is to equip our member churches. At our meeting, we unveiled a partnership with Brewton-Parker College which will help with that goal. This fall we will be able to offer accredited Bible, theology, and ministry classes.

These classes are perfect for the busy pastor that may not have any formal theological education. These classes are a good starting point for a person who is called to vocational ministry. For the Sunday school teacher or Bible study leader that desires to be better equipped for their ministry, these classes will provide a solid foundation. These classes will be great for any church member seeking to have a greater knowledge of Scripture.

Classes will begin on October 14th and the cost is only $150.00 per course. This is an incredible value. I know of no accredited seminary or college that will offer an entire course for this price. Each class is accredited and therefore transferable to other accredited institutions.

Enrollment is beginning now, so if you are interested, please don’t miss this opportunity, and contact our office now for more details.
