The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Golf Scramble on Friday, August 9th, at My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course. August Connect Hosted By: Baptist Health Hardin

On August 21st, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber held another Connect hosted by Baptist Health Hardin. We mixed, mingled, and made new connections over delicious cocktails and appetizers. Attendees went home with some great giveaways. Thanks to everyone who came out to grow their professional network. We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces at our next event!

Young Professionals Network

On August 22nd, another YPN event was held and sponsored by James B. Beam Distilling Co. We sipped on welcome cocktails, savored delicious appetizers, and dove into a fascinating bourbon tasting and education session. Learning about the rich history of the Beam family and their iconic bourbon was the perfect way to spend the evening. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this spirited gathering! And a big thanks to James B. Beam Distilling Co. for hosting us.

National Civics Bee

On August 22nd, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosted its third annual National Civics Bee Kentucky State Finals at the Kentucky State Fair! The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber went to cheer on Noah, Nate, and Gloria the three Nelson County finalists. Everyone who competed did a phenomenal job. A big thanks to the community members who showed up in support!


The National Civics Bee season 2024-2025 is right around the corner. Be on the lookout for more information!

Ambassador Retreat

On August 23, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber Ambassadors had their annual retreat held in Bloomfield, with lunch provided by Ernie's Tavern. Ambassadors collaborated on current and potential new events and programs for the Chamber, as well as a refresher course on everything chamber. 


A big thanks to our Ambassadors for always being committed to the chamber, our members, and the community. The chamber would not be what is it today without the support from our Ambassadors.

2024-2025 Young Leaders


The Bardstown- Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring back the Young Leaders Program for the 2024-2025 school year. This program will provide 31 high school sophomores from all four high schools with opportunities to learn about their community. This program takes the students around the community discussing and sharing information about Agriculture, Tourism, Government, Business, Health, Workforce Development, and Volunteerism. The program meets from September to April and will end with a graduation luncheon in April. To make this program possible, we offer several sponsorship levels designed to support and enhance the program’s impact.

 


$1500 Program Investment

  • Large logo on each t-shirt of the Young Leaders, chaperones, and staff that will be worn each program day.  
  • Logo on the graduation celebration program that will include all students, parents, school leaders, and sponsors.   
  • Listing on each program agenda.    
  • Social Media attention throughout the program year.      
  • Logo on a sign at the graduation celebration. 
  • Option to attend one of the Young Leader days. 


$500 Program Investment

All Star Inflatables is your true locally family-owned and operated inflatable business. From your back yard event to your business’s picnic, festival, or school event we have something for everybody. We have been a member of the Bardstown- Nelson County Chamber of Commerce since opening our business. 


All Star Inflatables thrives to please with only 5-star reviews. Safety is our priority as our inflatables are cleaned and disinfected after each use, but it does not stop there. Also, we make sure our units are staked down and secured to the ground. 


All Star Inflatables currently offers bounce houses, combo units (bounce house and slide together), wet/dry slides, an obstacle course, and a slip and slide. We continue to grow and add new inventory.
