Enjoy a stroll through historic Downtown Burlington on a gorgeous fall evening and sample variety of local wines and brews from a variety of local businesses.

Participants will visit shops in Downtown Burlington and enjoy tastings at participating locations. Save your spot now for this popular Downtown event by ordering tickets online then redeem your ticket for a glass, koozie lanyard, and map, beginning at 4:30 PM on Friday, September 13.

15th Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser

The Paddle Wheel Lounge invites you to join the 15th Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser on Saturday September 28.

Sign up at 10 AM for the Poker Run, Taco Envy LLC will be serving food with Pie In the Face at 5 PM and Live Auction starting 5:30 PM.

This event is to raise money for kids in our community to be able to attend the Special Olympics.

Join the 28th Annual Great River Bridge Race! This event has something for everyone, no matter the fitness level. There is a 10k, 5k, AND even a 1.5 mile walk option - each of which include spectacular views while crossing the Great River Bridge!

Event Options:

• 10k: 9:00 AM, $35
• 5K: 9:00 AM, $35
• Bridge Walk: 9:45 AM, $30 This 1.5 mile walk is perfect for people who aren't looking for the intense race atmosphere, but still want to experience the excitement. The bridg walk will not be timed.

Downtown Partners, Inc. (DPI) is launching a Fundraiser Campaign. The campaign is a fun way to support Downtown Burlington!

The new Streetscape project means new Downtown décor is needed, so all donations will be going towards new holiday decorations. The first 25 Investors who donate $200+ will receive two (2) V.I.P. second-story indoor seats at The Busted Cup Brewhouse at the 2024 Lighted Holiday Parade on November 30, 2024, as a special donor THANK YOU from Downtown Partners, Inc. The V.I.P. section includes a 4 free drinks, appetizers, and a warm, dry spot to watch the 2024 Lighted Holiday Parade!

• Emphasizing the Downtown district as a collection of small, independent, locally owned businesses
• Adding to the liveliness of the streetscape
• Freeing up sidewalk space occupied by sandwich board signs
• Encouraging businesses to explore their individuality and examine their branding
• Increasing business visibility for potential customers who would otherwise not know anything about the business unless they were directly in front of it
