CCHS Parents, Students, Alumni and Friends:

It has been an exciting start to the school year! What a blessing to be back on campus and walking the halls of our school, including the new MACS Fine Arts Center! We are so grateful to everyone who helped to make this long-awaited expansion possible.

Thanks to the current parents for joining us last week for Back to School night. We know that is a busy evening of meeting your student's teachers. We hope you'll plan to join us for more casual fellowship at our Welcome Wine & Cheese October 5.

We're so grateful to be able to reconnect with alumni and friends! Please join us for an upcoming sporting event, concert, play, or one of the social events listed below.

As always, thank you for your support of the Cougar family.

Prayerfully yours,

    W. Kurt Telford, Principal

Need for Auxiliary Athletics Space

CCHS Is exploring options to develop off-campus auxiliary athletic fields for use by our student athletes for track, tennis and field sports. A parcel of approximately 20 acres of land is ideal. If you know of land or property that may be available, please contact Principal Kurt Telford at ktelford@charlottecatholic.com.

School Advisory Board

Dear Parents, Alumni, and Friends of Charlotte Catholic,

Charlotte Catholic High School (CCHS) is a dynamic high school with a tradition of success and the promise of a bright future. Over the past year, we have been working on a strategic plan with the goal of finalizing a shared vision for CCHS, seeking input from faculty, parents, alumni and the Catholic Schools Office (CSO). To support the administration in the development and implementation of this shared vision, I am excited to announce that I will be working with the CSO and MACS School Board to establish a CCHS Advisory Board.

This Advisory Board, similar to those being set up across the other MACS schools, will play a key role in furthering the advancement of excellence in Catholic school education for students at Charlotte Catholic High School by providing leadership, direction, and support. The CCHS Advisory Board will be comprised of appointed leaders in the local school community, that bring together their wisdom, experience, and passion to support to local school leadership, and assist the President and Principal with the identification, planning, and execution of site-specific, long-term goals in a number of key areas, including, finance and facilities, marketing and admissions, advancement, and Catholic identity.

CCHS Advisory Board members have a unique opportunity to contribute to the short and long-term success of the school while actively participating in the formation and evangelization of our students. Charlotte Catholic provides an outstanding education, but to be the best that it can be, we need the support and input of friends with valuable insight and experience.

We are currently accepting nominations and hope to have our inaugural advisory board meeting this October. Please use the link below to nominate a current/former parent, grandparent, alumnus, or supporter of Catholic education that you believe will make a positive impact on the future success of Charlotte Catholic. The deadline for submission of nominees is September 30, 2022. Selected nominees will be contacted for a follow-up conversation with me and a representative from the CSO.

Thank you, all, for your continued prayers and support.
