Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome Back!
The start of a new school year is filled with possibilities and promise for your child. There will be new lessons to learn, new challenges to face, new friends to make, and the wonder of seeing your child grow and mature before your very eyes. It is our commitment to enrich your child’s spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and social development. By nurturing strong Catholic virtues and moral values, each child is prepared to enter an ever-changing society. Our goal is to inspire every child to reach his/her fullest potential. It is important for you, as parents, to support and nurture this important growth time for your child.
Each year we embark on a school-wide theme. Pope Francis officially declared 2025 a Year of Jubilee with a papal bull, titled “Spes Non Confudit,” meaning “Hope Does Not Disappoint.” It is fitting then that we “Grow in our faith with Hope”.
The students will learn what it means to Hope and have Hope. Students will gain a deeper
understanding of Hope. Pope Francis calls us to find suitable ways to plan and celebrate the
Holy Year with deep faith, lively hope and active charity. Therefore, the students will learn
ways in which they can incorporate Hope into their lives to live the message of Jesus. These
lessons will help them along their journey in life. My monthly letter in the Cougar Chronicle will address the experiences your children are learning about in the classroom. Our goal is to lead young minds toward what is noble, gentle, and fine.
