AIL UPDATES

Welcome!

A message from AIL President Katrina Wagner

Dear Friends,

As AIL’s fall term begins, a lot is happening in our local communities and worldwide. While it can be easy to get bogged down by all of the news constantly swirling around us, I am especially grateful for the reprieve that AIL offers. Fortunately, we have one another and the enjoyment we share, as we gain new insights through an impressive variety of outstanding course offerings and special programs.

This treasured, shared experience is possible because of everyone who has stepped up to teach a course, chair or serve on a committee, or otherwise volunteer when needed. And, our dedicated office staff, Nina and Sarah, keep AIL running smoothly behind the scenes.

I hope you'll enjoy this fall's offerings, and I'll look forward to seeing you in our AIL classroom or around the Colby-Sawyer campus.

Sincerely,

Katrina Wagner

President

September

September, a tapestry of gold and green,

Where summer's warmth begins to wean.

With each passing day, the air grows crisp,

As September's touch leaves hearts adrift.

In fields and forests, a subtle change,

As nature begins its gentle exchange.

Leaves turn to hues of amber and red,

A farewell to summer, softly said.

With every breeze, a whisper of fall,

In September's grasp, we stand tall.

A time for transition, for letting go,

As September's rhythms ebb and flow.

In September's light, memories gleam,

In moments cherished, like a dream.

A time for reflection, for introspection,

As we embrace September's direction.

So let us welcome September's grace,

And hold onto its beauty, embrace.

For in its midst, we find the key,

To unlock the door to destiny.
