What brought you to start your business or get into your industry?
Throughout my career, I’ve been building my event portfolio and producing countless corporate gatherings, leadership retreats, panel discussions, galas, golf tournaments, and more. This summer, I was fired from a role I had held for seven years. It was an abrupt ending, but I left that office knowing something better was yet to come. This experience forced me to take stock of my accomplishments, and in doing so, I realized there was a big opportunity at my doorstep. After meeting with my mentors and a few trusted female founders, I decided to give Sarine Planning my full attention.
I'm thrilled to introduce you to Sarine Planning. S/P is a female-founded, Latina-owned business based in Denver, CO, with the ability to support clients across the globe in accomplishing their event goals. S/P is a full-service event management and consulting company eager to support everything from corporate and nonprofit events to weddings and beyond.
Becoming a founder wasn't on my bingo card for 2024, but as any good planner knows, you have to be flexible and prepared for anything!
What do you love most about what you do?
I consider myself a great collaborator. What I love about Sarine Planning is connecting with each business during the pre-event process to understand the purpose behind their gatherings. Through these conversations, we explore their driving factors, core values, and intentions for hosting the event. This deeper understanding allows me to better advise, build, budget, and execute each event successfully, working closely with clients to highlight their unique strengths through their events.
