The Pathways to Health Equity: Clinical Trials in Rural & Tribal Communities symposium aims to give a voice to patients in our communities affected by lack of access to clinical trials and emerging health innovations. We are bringing together patients, healthcare providers, researchers, and industry representatives to explore innovative solutions to clinical trial access.
Pathways to Health Equity will feature speakers from rural research programs, stories from patients and their advocates, and open discussions about the impacts of clinical trial access. The symposium begins on Thursday, October 17th at 1 PM Mountain Time. We will wrap up Day 1 with a seated dinner and keynote speaker. The symposium will continue at 8 AM on Friday, October 18th and conclude at 5 PM. Ge ready for a 1.5 days full of fast rounds, panels, and open discussions with the audience!
As a leader in developing partnerships to promote access to care and broader health initiatives in resource-limited areas, SIHI aims to engage the community in open dialogue around regional approaches to promoting research capacity, partnerships with local health systems and providers, and innovative delivery models. Join us in beautiful Missoula, Montana on the Third Floor of the University Center to explore innovative models to conduct clinical trials and building pathways to expand access to clinical trials within rural and tribal communities.
