Message from Dean Egerstedt

Our main “product” in the UCI Samueli School of Engineering is people; people who go through our programs and go out into the world as engineers, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, patent attorneys, or even dentists. In fact, we have over 23,000 engineering alumni talk about impact! To better leverage this network of Anteater engineers, my key focus over the coming academic year is to strengthen the school’s alumni connections. But, since it is impossible for me to host 23,000 individual lunch meetings, we are structuring this as a roadshow. I very much look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible as the UCI Samueli School of Engineering goes on tour. Stay tuned as we will be at a location near you over the coming academic year.

Best,

Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
