City of Beavercreek Continues to Invest in

Road Improvement Projects

Exciting developments are underway as the City of Beavercreek continues to invest in road improvement projects in an effort to alleviate traffic congestion and improve road conditions throughout the city.

Sept. 11 Ceremony

Beavercreek first responders will hold a ceremony on Monday, September 11, 2023 to remember the lives lost and sacrifices made during the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The ceremony will begin around 8:40 a.m. at Beavercreek’s 9/11 memorial at 1152 N. Fairfield Road and will include a presentation of colors, lowering of the flag over the memorial, a ceremonial bell ringing, and a commemorative message.

Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture

Spring House Park Now Open

Spring House Park is now open for you to enjoy and explore from dawn until dusk. Within the park, you'll find three hiking trails: the Perimeter Loop, which spans 2.5 miles; the Overlook Loop, measuring 1.63 miles; and the Spring House Loop, covering 1.5 miles. All these trails offer a natural experience, guiding you through the woods and around the park's perimeter. Visitors should use the gravel parking lot located along Patterson Road near the I-675 overpass.

Fishing Derby

Take the kids fishing at Dominick Lofino Park any time between September 19 through the 26. We’ll stock the pond; you bring your rod and bait! Send a picture your child and the fish they caught by September 27 to parks@beavercreekohio.gov. Entries must include: 



  • Child’s name and age
  • Parent’s name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Date you went fishing at the park


Participating families will be entered into a drawing for prizes, such as games, toys, kids’ fishing gear, and tickets to local attractions! Fishing at Dominick Lofino Park is catch and release only, and fishing licenses are not required for children under the age of 16. Thank you to the Ohio Division of Natural Resources, American Legion Post 763, and IH Credit Union for supporting this event!

Perennial Trade Day

Saturday, September 23

Preview begins at 9:30 a.m., trading begins at 10 a.m.

Rotary Park Shelter, 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road


If you love to garden, then this event is for you! Participants bring at least 10 plants, such as perennials, bulbs, rhizomes, trees, shrubs, or indoor plants.All items are placed on picnic tables and during each of 10 rounds, participants may choose one item from hundreds of options to take home. Those who bring an eleventh plant can participate in the plant raffle where the winner takes homes a surplus of additional plants.


Registration is optional to receive updates.

Garage Sale

Mark your calendar for the Beavercreek Senior Center’s annual garage sale. The outdoor garage sale will be held Friday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to noon in the center’s overflow parking lot. The garage sale is open to the public.

Beavercreek Police Department

BPD Utilizing New Citizen Engagement and Feedback Tool – PowerEngage

The Beavercreek Police Department has recently implemented PowerEngage, a new citizen engagement and feedback solution for police and dispatch services. If you’ve had any recent interactions with the agency, you may have received a text message containing a survey requesting your feedback. With PowerEngage, automated four-question surveys are sent directly to citizens via text after certain interactions (determined by the type of call for service) with the department.

Beavercreek Golf Club

Phase I of Bunker Renovation

Project Completed

The Beavercreek Golf Club recently completed phase one of its bunker renovation project. This project aims to enhance the overall golfing experience while providing an aesthetically appealing and playable course.


The club is now preparing for Phases II and III. The remaining bunkers on the course will be renovated, and additional bunkers will be installed. Throughout the renovation, the club remains committed to providing the best possible golfing experience. All three phases of the bunker renovation project are scheduled to be completed by 2025.
