As our nation mourns the loss of Justice Ginsburg and as we continue to face the realities of institutional racism and racial inequality, we are glad to have you with us as a partner. Together, we are working to make real and enduring change in Illinois towards a more equitable and accessible justice system.
 
How are you making change? Whether you volunteer with one of PILI’s pro bono opportunities or provide financial support, help with election protection efforts or serve as an election judge, or contribute your time and talent in some other way, you are part of that change.
 
And, if you know someone who has been making real and enduring change, be sure to nominate them for one of PILI’s annual awards before October 2nd.

Illinois Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal clinic where low-income Illinois residents can submit a question online to ask a lawyer for help with a legal issue. We're seeing an increase in questions during the COVID-19 Pandemic and need more volunteers to answer questions. Learn more.

Self-represented litigants in the Illinois Appellate Court face many unique challenges without adequate resources to assist them through the appellate process. This platform is the first-ever virtual legal advice clinic for civil appeals in Illinois. Volunteer lawyers with appellate experience are needed! 

IL-AFLAN provides civil legal services across Illinois to veterans, active duty military and their spouses and dependents and PILI refers pro bono matters in the 101 counties outside of Cook County. Help us serve those who have served us!  Learn more.

Volunteers are needed for expungement clinic happening in Springfield on October 3rd. PILI is a proud partner of this event.
