Cori Bradbury is our incoming
Student Rep to the Board (SRB)
Her term as SRB with ASID California Central / Nevada Chapter, will begin on October 1st, 2018. She is an upperclassman at Fresno State University and serves on the Board for Fresno State University's ASID Student Chapter.
This is what she has to say about her visit to the ASID Leadership Experience in Washington DC in July:
The Leadership Experience (EXP) was an informational and inspiring set of events. The experience was filled with seminars, speakers, and collaborations geared toward bettering ASID on a regional, student, and national level.
In addition to the workshops geared toward personal leadership skills, I gained the most useful knowledge from collaborations with other regions and the other student representatives. I was able to take notes on how other regions run their monthly meetings as well as the events they hold for both their members and their sponsors.
Moreover, it was extremely helpful to hear from the other student reps on how they work with their school chapters, especially learning tips and tricks on how to navigate meetings and events while having the geographic barrier of crossing over state borders.
I hope to take the knowledge and skills I gained during the EXP and make our region all the better.

AIA/IDCEC CEU Presentation - Drinks & Hors D'oeuvres - Mobile Design & Innovation Studio Tour
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018
2:00 - 6:30 pm
Hufcor is taking to the road this fall with their first-ever North American tour.
The "Shaping Your Experience" tour will come to 9 cities over the course of 9 weeks
and will provide architects and interior designers the opportunity to not only experience some of Hufcor's existing products but also get a sneak peek at some new and emerging technologies in flexible space.
The tour will include a presentation on flexible space (architects and interior designers can earn 1 CEU via AIA/IDCEC), food and drink, and a tour of our Mobile Design & Innovation Studio.
Mike Kontranowski, Hufcor's Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing had this to say:
"We're very excited to be able to show how design and technology come together to shape
the future of flexible space.
This is like nothing we've ever done before. It's new, it's exciting
and we cannot wait for our partners in the architecture and design communities to experience a new way to learn and see flexible innovation."
Although registration is free, seating is limited so you'll want to register soon.
