with Rev. Chris Faulconer
This ongoing class is held on
Thursday Evenings
6:30pm
$20
The wisdom of the ancients is still available in hands on energy healing, journeying and in principles and practices handed down through the generations. The chakras are ancient perceptions of the human energy system. In many traditions they are seen as wheels of light or vortexes radiating out along the spine and contributing to the healthy or non-healthy state of the individual. An overview of the chakra system will be the basis of each class. The practice of laying on of hands or energetic healing, how to scan and read the auric field, the disease process and body symbology, and the ethics of healing will also be demonstrated and/or discussed. Techniques taught are designed to enable the student to tap into their inner resources in order to facilitate the innate healing potential present in one's body/mind field. As a separate course, practicum (actual practice) sessions are available in the upcoming months. These sessions will be available only to the students of this course or by the permission of the instructor. Cost is $20 for each evening. Call the Enchanted Cottage @ 661-323-9929 to make a reservation. Chris Faulconer is Founder and Director of the 21st Century Mystery School. Beginning Tarot
with Marcia Ohlman Cox
Friday~September 9th, 2011
6:30pm-8:30pm
$25
In this class you will be learning the basics of Tarot and how to read a simple three card spread. The three card spread can answer almost any question you might have and is a good place to begin your knowledge of the Tarot.
Marcia will be using the ideas of Hermetic Tarot that believes tarot imagery functions as a textbook and memory device teaching symbolical language and its deeper meanings. An example of this practice is found in the rituals of the 19th Century Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. In the 20th Century Hermetic use of the tarot imagery as a handbook and revealer of perennial wisdom was further developed in the work of Carl Gustav Jung and his exploration into the psyche and active imagination.
As a lecturer, Intuitive Tarot reader, writer, teacher, spiritual coach and Reiki Master, Marcia O. Cox has helped countless people find peace and well-being. She studied with noted Tarot teacher Fran Pellicci for over eight years as well as other teachers and founded Metaphysically Speaking Productions with Fran in 2000 to help other heal, and grow spiritually and emotionally. All things Metaphysical are a personal passion for Marcia and she loves to share that passion with her students.

Past Life Workshop
with Marcia Cox
Friday~September 23rd, 2011
6:30pm-8:30pm
$20
"We all have some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time - of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects, and circumstances. Charles Dickens (David Copperfield)
It has been said that we carry the experiences of as many as 22 lifetimes when we incarnate (we have probably lived 100 times at least). Twenty-two lifetimes of karma seems just enough for us to work on at a time.
Leading this workshop is writer, teacher and Intuitive Marcia Ohlman Cox. Marcia has recently returned to performing Past Life Readings after a lapse of many years. She has informally read people's past lives since she was a child and very early on was surprised to learn that others couldn't do what she could do. Marcia remembers many lifetimes and grew in understanding of her challenging relationship with her brother when she "saw" that he had murdered her in a past life.
Marcia will lecture and answer questions on reincarnation, do guided meditations for the group so that they find what past lives are influencing them now and Marcia will also give individual readings as the time allows.
Join us in this fascinating workshop - call The Enchanted Cottage for your reservation, as space will be limited. A notebook is recommended.
