TEMPLE EMANUEL HIGH HOLY DAYS

We are honored to host Temple Emanuel during their High Holy Days again this year. They will hold Rosh Hashanah services on the evening of September 15 and during the day of September 16. They will also hold a Kol Nidre service the evening of September 24 and Yom Kippur service all day September 25. Thank you in advance for being gracious hosts and for your patience with any additional parking challenges this may cause.

SUNDAY MORNING TOWN HALL

We are currently reviewing the feedback from our all-church survey about Sunday mornings at Dayspring Tempe. Your valuable insights are crucial to our progress, and we invite you to join us for a town hall discussion this Sunday, September 17th, right after the 10am service, in Fellowship Hall. Together, let's embark on this exciting journey to reshape Sunday mornings at Dayspring Tempe into something even more extraordinary! Learn more

MONTHLY TAIZÉ SERVICE

The Taizé service comes from the ecumenical community of Taizé, France. Gathered in the presence of Christ, this is a time of meditative common prayer. During the service, we sing uncomplicated, repetitive songs, uncluttered by too many words, allowing the mystery of God to become known through the beauty of simplicity. Email Pastor Shirley at shirley@dayspring-umc.org for more information. The next service is September 17 at 4pm in the Fellowship Hall.

DAYSPRING MOMS' MEET UP

Whether you’re a new mom or you’ve been through it all, the Moms’ MeetUp is open to all moms in search of a kid-free night out. We will meet for dinner and conversation this Friday, September 22 at 7:00pm at Picazzo’s (NE corner of Warner and Kyrene). Email Andrea to RSVP or with questions.

WELCOME RECEPTION FOR PASTOR MICHAEL

Please join us after the service on September 24 in the Fellowship Hall for our official welcoming of our new associate pastor. There will be opportunities to ask Pastor Michael about himself and to enjoy his singing of some of his Gospel Jazz repertoire, accompanied by Robert Mills. Refreshments will include our special coffee service, some vegan treats as well as cookies for the kids and young at heart!
