2015/2016 SENIOR PORTRAIT & YEARBOOK INFORMATION
DEAR PARENT OR GUARDIAN:
THE FINAL SENIOR YEAR FOR YOUR STUDENT IS UPON US, CONGRATULATIONS! INFORMATION REGARDING BOTH SENIOR PORTRAITS AND YEARBOOK IS LISTED BELOW. PLEASE HANG ONTO THIS LETTER UNTIL EVERYTHING IS ADDRESSED TO YOUR SATISFACTION. THE DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS & PURCHASES REGARDING THE YEARBOOK ARE DUE BY JAN. 15TH AND ALL ORDERS FOR PARENT PAGES BY DEC. 1ST.
SENIOR PORTRAITS:
A pose needs to be chosen
that you want to appear in the yearbook (or one will be chosen for you). Instructions were (or will be) included with your proofs as to how to login to the LORS website (lorsstudio.com) to do this. The deadline is Monday, December1st. It sounds far away, but you wouldn't believe how many folks never get around to choosing their pose. So, I encourage you to do it as soon as possible. Make-ups or retakes for senior portraits will be on Tuesday, October 13th & 14th in the auditorium. If your senior missed their appointment, he/she will automatically be rescheduled and notified of their new appointment. If they want a retake, you will need to call LORS (908-964-0847) to schedule an appointment for the October 13th or 14th.
YEARBOOK:
First, Senior Quotes: A form will be passed around in your Senior English class in September. The quote will appear directly under your senior portrait in the yearbook. Also, I reserve the right to reject any quote, so, only submit those that are appropriate for a high school publication and leave no room for interpretation. Quotes deemed inappropriate or left open to interpretation will not be included, and you will not be contacted to submit an alternative quote.
Second, the Yearbook (with your name as you want it imprinted on the front) are available for $75.00, and can be purchased online only. Go to:
Your order needs to be placed by January 15th, and make sure you "Add" Senior Personalization to your cart should you desire your senior's name imprinted on the cover. Type in your senior's name, as you want it to appear on the cover, when prompted to do so. Personalization is included as a free option for all seniors.
Third, the Parent Page/Ad. Either a half-page or full-page ad (collage) honoring your graduate: If interested, take a look at the past few yearbooks to obtain ideas if you're not sure what to do. Copies of previous years' yearbooks are available to view at our own library and each of our local public libraries. Orders for parent pages can be placed online by following the same link provided above. Orders for Parent Pages must be completed by December 1st, and photographs or completed pages must be dropped off to Mr. Walkowich's office (room 226) or emailed to the yearbook club (ihhsyearbook@rih.org) no later than December 4th.
Fourth, Senior Siblings: We have dedicated 4 pages of this year's book solely for pictures of any seniors with their high school siblings (grades 9. 10, 11). This year we request any parent desiring inclusion of their senior and a sibling in the yearbook submit two photographs - the first being a photograph of the students when they were younger, and a second in which the students have recreated the original photo to the best of their ability. These photographs will be placed side by side in the yearbook. Pictures can be emailed to the yearbook club (ihhsyearbook@rih.org) with the subject line: Senior Sibling picture.
