Debunking Myths About Home Care

This lunch & learn is for members who need a little help caring for their parents, spouses, or selves, while staying in their homes.
 
Senior home care covers everything from friendly conversation to help with basic household tasks and individual needs like bathing and personal hygiene. From a few hours a day to 24-hour care and live-in assistance, FirstLight caregivers do more to help with daily tasks and activities that may become difficult to manage as we age.

Everyday actions can leave anyone open to identity theft. The Illinois Attorney General’s Office will present tips to prevent identity theft and ways to restore your financial profile if it happens to you.  
Learn to: 
• Recognize common scams and their many variations 
• Set up fraud alerts, security freezes, and opt-outs 
• Report scams and manage the situation
