Assistant Care Management Services:
A Cost Effective Alternative
 

Do you ever find your clients needing assistance with tasks that are beyond the scope of their caregiver, yet do not require the clinical expertise of a Master-level Geriatric Care Manager/Social Worker?

 

Senior Alternatives offers a cost-effective Assistant Care Management service to assist clients in this situation. Our Care Management Assistants (CMA's) work under the guidance and direction of a Master-level Geriatric Care Manager/Social Worker to provide the following types of services for clients:  

  • Transportation to medical appointments with sufficient knowledge and experience to gather information and advocate for client(s) and their family
  • Research non-medical related questions/products
  • Promote and assist in planning social outings, including accompanying client to favorite events like shows or opening day at the ballpark
  • Assist with the organization of home, office or storage
  • Coordinate referrals for other services/care
  • Encourage and motivate participation in daily, routine tasks
  • Maintain daily exercise routines as directed by a physician, physical therapist or speech therapist
  • Assist with sorting mail and writing correspondence
  • Run errands and helping with shopping for groceries, personal items, etc.
  • Coordinate larger household maintenance projects
  • Supervise medications and monitor home and safety conditions
  • Provide companionship through high level, friendly conversation
  • Almost any other needed tasks

All CMA's are selected for their warmth and caring personalities and each has experience meeting the unique needs of our clients.
