WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS!

Youth With Faces and Oakwood Bank teams: Michelle Jones, Dr. Jazminda Ryan, Chris Quadri, Eugene Tremblay, Sheree Ulmer, Chandra McCormack, Paul Ruedas and Judy Morgan.

Oakwood Bank, a community bank with four locations in Dallas as well as branches in Snyder and Oakwood, Texas, recently announced its ongoing investment in the Youth With Faces Financial Empowerment Program. Continuing an initiative launched in 2023, the bank serves as Youth With Faces’ partner in personal finance education with volunteers who lead engaging curricula inside juvenile justice facilities in Collin and Dallas counties. The bank also supports our career- and life-skills education programs with a $20,000 annual investment. Read more

Community partners and volunteers are the heart of our programs. We kick off a second year of community-based programming with the Local Good Center in Plano on February 22. In addition to providing classroom space for our Career Readiness program, Local Good Center volunteers help deliver lessons such as mock interviews, resume writing, and more.

The North Texas Food Bank continues to lead a nutrition lesson with every one of our Culinary Arts cohorts and Storehouse of Collin County is a tremendous partner in food security, providing monthly grocery donations to Youth With Faces for distribution to graduates and their families. We love these community-based organizations supporting Youth With Faces students with education and services they need for a healthy and positive future. Thank you, partners!
