Spirit Day Tomorrow 2/9!

The girls' JV and Varsity basketball teams take on Saint Kilian in our last section game at the Ryan Center. Both teams are playing for the section title and the #1 seed of the diocesan playoffs! JV plays at 6:30 and Varsity at 7:45! Wear your Seelos best if you do not have Spirit Wear just wear the school colors: (red, white and blue) and GO SAINTS!!!

Congratulations to both the third grade girls and third grade boys basketball teams for their championship finishes in the Pittsburgh Youth Basketball League (PYBL).

Used Uniform Contact Information

Are you ready for Spring weather? Do you need some uniforms?

Please come to the Used Uniform Closet Sale

When: Saturday February 24th from 10:00AM to 11:30 AM

Where: Uniform Closet in the Main Lobby by the Main Office

Free Will Donations that benefits BFSA PTG

Remember if you can't make it please e-mail us at useduniforms@seelosacademy.org with what you need.

We are in the need of the following items: crewneck uniform approved sweatshirts, fleeces, or 1/4 zip uniform sweatshirts and also gym uniforms sizes Youth Medium, Youth Large, Youth X-Large, or Adult Small. If you have these items please bring to the school office in a bag marked UNIFORM SALE.

We hope to see you in a couple weeks.

"Make Us Believers"

St. Aidan's Parish will once again be presenting the Passion Play "Make Us Believers" on Friday, March 22nd at 8 pm, and Saturday, March 23rd at 8 pm.

Any parishioner will be welcome. Just show up at the practices. We have many families that do this as their Lenten journey. The more the better!

Fish Fry Frenzy

Fish Fry Needs YOU!

The Saint Aidan Fish Fry is the Parish's largest fundraiser, and, guess what? They split HALF of the profits with our school! We are so fortunate to have the support of our host parish and desperately need your help for this tradition and BFSA's largest fundraiser to continue.

If you have not volunteered before, there are many types of positions and times (and not just Fridays) to sign up for. All ages are welcome and you do not have to be a member of the parish, The ideal volunteers are school families that wish to make this their lenten family activity and volunteer for multiple times. However, we welcome all individuals that may only be able to sign up for one shift. Many hands make light work! We guarantee you will have fun, meet new people and enjoy helping our school and parish thrive!

The SignUp Genius has been upgraded and organized by section so be sure to look at the tabs at the top to find the area you would like to serve. It's much easier to sign up for multiple nights in the position you choose. Feel free to reach out to Mike Cuddy (co-chair and volunteer) directly or email any of the listed coordinators in the Sign-Up Genius with any questions you may have.

Fish Fry Desserts Needed

Our school partners with St. Aidan parish to help raise very important funds for both the Parish and Blessed Francis Seelos Academy. This year dine-in service has returned and with that comes desserts!!! Please check the information at this link.

Fundraisers

Sarris PTG Fundraiser

Your student should have received a brochure and order form for our Easter Candy Sale. There are two ways to order, though!

1. With paper order form

Money must be collected with orders, do not add sales tax.
Checks payable to BFSA PTG
Return white and yellow summary sheet to office by Friday, February 16th
Orders can be picked up with be at the K-8 entrance on Wednesday, March 20th

2. Order Sarris Online

Select “I Am Supporting a Fundraiser”
Select “I Am a Customer"
Enter our Group ID # 17-0383 and your family name
Online orders will be delivered to your home (usually within a day or so)
There is a $5 shipping/handling fee

Pura Vida Bracelet Orders In!

Pura Vida Bracelet orders are FINALLY in! They will be sent home today with the designated student listed on the order form or available in the office for those who chose that delivery method. Thank you for your patience!

We also have a supply of extra bracelets if anyone would like any for Valentine's Day! Available are the original design for $8 & the braided with the silver 'Seelos Saints' plate for $15. Email ptg@seelosacademy.org for information. First come first served.
