ITRC is excited to announce two important opportunities for our membership!

Call for Candidates: ITRC Co-Chair

ITRC is seeking qualified candidates to fill an open Co-Chair position on the Board of Advisors (BOA). The Co-Chair will be selected by an electronic vote of the ITRC membership in June.

This is a rewarding three-year term, beginning in July 2024.

Who can Apply?

Any state government agency employee is eligible to apply.

What are the Responsibilities?

In addition to the roles and responsibilities for all BOA members, the Co-Chair will work closely with the ITRC Director and other Co-Chair to:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the BOA
  • Help oversee governing functions of the association
  • Preside over BOA meetings
  • Participate in regular planning meetings with the Director and other Co-Chair
  • Appoint At-Large BOA Voting Members
  • Represent ITRC at partner meetings and events

For a full description of the Co-Chair and BOA roles and responsibilities, application process, and information about the election, visit the Call for Candidates webpage.

Applications are due by May 31, 2024.

At-Large Member Vacancy and Upcoming Needs

In addition to the Co-Chair position, we have a vacancy for an At-Large State Member on the BOA and are expected to have additional opportunities to join in 2025 due to member rotations. The current vacancy will be filled following the election of the new Co-Chair and will be appointed by the ITRC Director and Co-Chairs.

Stay tuned for more information about the At-Large Member opportunity in the coming weeks.

We encourage all ITRC members to consider these exciting opportunities to serve the organization and contribute to the environmental community.
