A look back at 2022

Happy 2023! As we look forward to the spring weather and the beauty that it brings, let us take a look back at some of our 2022 highlights:

· Producing a record 37,695 books that were sent to children with vision loss – a 7% increase over 2021!

· Giving away 23,879 of those books – a record amount, which is 63% of the total.

· Offering more than 750 titles in Unified English Braille (UEB), and all of our titles are now $20 OR LESS! Seedlings continues to be a leader in UEB among braille publishers.

· We had our largest Online Auction ever – outdoing our largest auction total from last year – thanks to our generous sponsors, donors and supporters! Together, we raised more than $51,500 to provide over 5,100 braille books to children with vision loss!

Inspired by you and the precious children we serve, we couldn’t have done any of these amazing things without your support and generosity! We look forward to providing our braille book readers with so much more in 2023.

2023 Book Angel Program:

Children with Vision Loss Can Sign Up in January and Receive 6 FREE Braille Books

We’re celebrating Braille Literacy Month by giving all children with vision loss who register for our Book Angel Program 6 FREE braille books!

But don't worry, if you miss out during January, we will still be giving out 5 free braille books per child with vision loss for the rest of 2023 and each calendar year!

If your child is 21 or younger, you need to register each year for our Book Angel Program.
