ETHOS FARM TO HEALTH NEWS
"Do we ever know who grew it? Do we ever know how it was grown? Do we ever know how it got to the display table? Usually not!"
- Dr. Weiss
The much anticipated annual Farm Days Festival at Ethos is just around the corner and we hope you registered. If not, there is still time to register for an unmissable chance to listen to our inspiring and illustrious speakers.
|
This year we will hear from Peter Singer, Rich Roll, Dr. Dean Sherzai and Dr. Ayesha Sherzai, who so many of you had expressed a desire to hear from, Dr Columbus Batiste, Dr Meagan Grega, Sara Farley, Bob Quinn, Lianna Levine Reisner, and Janette Spiezio. Each one an expert in their field who will, over two fun and information packed days, explore with us the inter-connected nature of so many of the issues that our world is currently facing — global warming, declining human health, food insecurity, the rapidly increasing toxicity of our air and water.
Contrary to how it might initially sound, these will be two incredibly positive, hopeful days because in addition to the event taking place in a spectacular outdoor setting on a 300-year-old farm, real, simple, elegant, science-based solutions to this seemingly insurmountable set of crises will be discussed. Lifestyle solutions that all of us can start implementing with immediacy.
If you are able attend Farm Days at Ethos Farm (in Long Valley New Jersey) this September 9th and 10th I believe that you too will come away feeling tremendously positive and empowered to make lasting changes to your own personal health, the health of your community and the health of our planet.
If you cannot make it in person, a live-streaming option is available as well.

We have seen incredible successes in 2022 and 2023 because of a growing number of Individual supporters like you and organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation, National Health Association, Whole Foods, First Energy Foundation, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and A Well-Fed World supporting our mission.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our Farm Days supporters this year:
| |
However, true regenerative organic farming cannot yet compete financially with giant, distant, corporate chemical agriculture. What we so carefully produce and sell will not yet support itself, nor the many educational activities that expand our healthy impact. We really do get by with a little help from our friends!
So, please consider continuing to support our mission. Your support will fund education and wellness activities like Farm Days celebrations with speakers like Peter Singer coming over from Australia, Rich Roll, the Drs Sherzai, and Dr Columbus Batiste all flying in from California to show us their support.

"No one takes interest in a patient like Ethos does."
A year ago, biking enthusiast Paul Lawrence, after suffering four strokes, none of them serious, but indicative of the need for a lifestyle change, decided to go plant-based and found Ethos Primary Care. He was very impressed by the thoroughness of the exam. The changes he made reenergized Paul and made him confident and committed to bike 80 kms in 80 days starting in July and culminating with his 80th birthday in October.
We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with him!
