Friday, JULY 26, 7:00 pm ET - IN-PERSON (and Virtual): CELEBRATION OF SHABBAT with L'Dor Va-Dor and Cantor Carol! We welcome all to our IN-PERSON Shabbat on July 26 where we will enjoy the Sabbath with music and song by Cantor Carol and the musical accompaniment by Sandon Chevlin and Ruth Nodiff. We look forward to being with you once again! Our Oneg Shabbat refreshments following our service will be sponsored by Kim McCreary and Ramona Garner, in memory of their friend Mark Goldhirsch. We will share a couple of videos, one recorded previously of the late Rabbi Barry Silver sharing his take on this Torah portion and another to provide a different perspective and insight for further learning. Friday, SEPTEMBER 6, 7:00 pm ET - IN-PERSON: L'DOR VA-DOR CELEBRATION OF SHABBAT FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM! This will be a very special SHABBAT, part of a September month-long national awareness campaign in synagogues and organizations across the Nation promoting rights for religious freedom, such as women's rights, LGBQT+ rights, anti-Semitism, to name a few. This campaign is being sponsored by Jews for a Secular Democracy and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. We look forward to providing more information as we get closer to the date. YOUR Opinion MATTERS!
The Rabbi Search Committee is looking at two local candidates who may be able to provide their rabbinical leadership to L'Dor Va-Dor for our future. We have now had a Shabbat service that each of these candidates helped to plan, prepare and present. For our June 21st Shabbat, we welcomed Rabbi Richard Polirer, and for our June 28th Shabbat, we welcomed Rabbi Aviva Bass. Both of these Shabbats can be viewed through the links found just below.
We strongly urge you to provide us with your feedback and comments so that we can make the wisest and most prudent decisions for the future of L'Dor Va-Dor. We also ask you to become a member or to renew your membership with our congregation and help us to create this future of our synagogue together!

L'DOR VA-DOR HIGH HOLY DAYS 2024

We are very excited to announce that we have established that we will hold our congregational High Holy Day services once again at the Movies of Delray, 7421 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
Our services will be officiated by
Rabbi Aviva Bass and Cantor Carol Garrett.
Members of L'Dor Va-Dor who have joined since January 1, 2024 or recently renewed their membership will be entitled to tickets for all High Holy Day services included with their membership.
Guest tickets can be purchased for $100 per person for all services, if purchased before September 16th (tickets as of September 16 will be at a higher per person rate).
Anyone interested in purchasing Guest tickets for our High Holy Day services can mail a check payable to Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor to our mailing address at 6100 Boynton Beach Blvd. # 743102, Boynton Beach, FL 33474. Please include names of guests, email address, phone number, and mailing address. [NOTE: we will have purchases available soon through our website as well.]

To those on our Healing List and those that are not, but should be, we send out our thoughts and wishes for you to be stronger, to heal, to recover, and to attain a full recovery to good health, a Refuah Shlema, renewal of the body, renewal of the spirit! Hoping that you will be returned to good health soon!
