We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the office renovation for the RI Black Business Association. The newly renovated offices provide a modern and functional workspace for the association to continue its important work in supporting and empowering black and minority-owned businesses. The upgraded facilities are designed to enhance productivity and collaboration among members, reflecting the commitment to growth and success within the organization.
Our Senior Designer Meghan Robinson brought in Ron Stevenson from South County Architecture and Design, Inc. to produce an interior space plan to address the unique challenges of this project, such as the number of private offices versus workstations, a large scale board room, and separate training center along with other requirements in the existing 3,800 sq. ft. building structure. To help accomplish this, the back stairwell was eliminated to create additional office space on the second floor. The reception area was also improved to be more welcoming and comfortable for visitors.
We specified, provided, and installed, premium interior finishes from high-quality flooring and expert painting to custom window shades and including all the furniture. Keeping their non-profit status and budget in mind, we specified a combination of new and refurbished furniture, and provided several furniture comparison analyses to achieve the desired look in the most cost effective way possible.
