Seniors 65 and over may apply for the RTA Pass at Fremont Township. Taking the train downtown? This will save you money and it is free. It takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive the pass in the mail.
The RTA Reduced Fare Permit allows older adults, age 65 and older, and qualified people with disabilities and Medicare recipients to ride all RTA fixed-route services (regularly scheduled CTA, Metra and Pace buses or trains in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will Counties) at a reduced fare.

Rules of the Road Review Class

Rules of the Road Review Course Friday, July 13 from 10 am til noon
The Rules of the Road Review Course is designed to give drivers – especially senior citizens and persons with disabilities – the knowledge and confidence needed to renew or obtain a driver's license. The review course combines an explanation of the driving exam with a practice written exam.

Free Hearing and Otoscope Exam -

Audibel Hearing Aid Center in Libertyville, a leader in “Better Hearing Health” is pleased to offer a Free Hearing Screening and Otoscope Exam Event on Thursday, March 15 from 10:00 am til 2 pm at lower level of the Fremont Township Administrative Building.

A Matter of Balance
- Do you have concerns about falling? Would you like to learn more about how to reduce the fear of falling? You are eligible if you are 60 or older, ambulatory, or concerned about falling. Do you know people who can't afford to do their laundry? The Laundry Love program allows them to bring their clothes to El Gran Laundromat at 311 North Seymour Avenue, Mundelein on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The last load has to be in at 7 pm. They provide the quarters and laundry soap. (3 loads per family)
