  • Tuesday, JUNE 11, sundown through Wednesday, June 12, sundown: The holiday of SHAVUOT. This is one of the three pilgrimage festivals of Judaism (along with Passover and Sukkot) and is a harvest festival of wheat and first fruits. The holiday honors and remembers the giving of the Torah to the Jewish People on Mount Sinai. It is customary to eat dairy items and fruit for this holiday. It is also a tradition to participate in a Yizkor Memorial Service for this holiday.

  • Tuesday, JUNE 11, sundown through Wednesday, June 12, sundown - VIRTUAL: YIZKOR MEMORIAL SERVICE for SHAVUOT. We are offering you a virtual memorial service for you to view and observe and to honor and remember your loved ones who have passed.   • Tuesday, JUNE 11, 7:00 pm ET - VIRTUAL: TOUCH of JEWISH HISTORY with L'Dor Va-Dor on Zoom. We will focus on HENRIETTA SZOLD this evening and enjoy several interesting short documentary films about this remarkable women, her life, and the founding of Hadassah. Ms. Szold also devoted her life working with Youth Aliyah, rescuing orphaned and displaced children in Europe following the Holocaust and bringing them to Israel to live.   • Friday, JUNE 14, 7:00 pm ET - IN-PERSON (and Virtual): CELEBRATION OF SHABBAT AND SHAVUOT with Cantor Carol Garrett and L'Dor Va-Dor!  We welcome YOU to join us to celebrate the holidays of Shabbat and Shavuot, the annual spring harvest time that remembers the giving of the Torah to the Jewish People. This holiday is the culmination of the Counting of the Omer, from the second night of Passover 49 days to Shavuot. It is one of the major holidays of Judaism. Join with us and together we will celebrate with music, song, readings, and messages. Return to your Jewish roots in a way that allows you to believe however you feel most comfortable. Cantor Carol will lead our service and we will enjoy the accompaniment and musical expertise of Sandon Chevlin and Ruth Nodiff as well. LOOKING AHEAD TO JUNE and JULY and SEPT ...


  • We will NOT hold SHABBAT celebration services on Friday, JULY 5, 2024 or on Friday, JULY 19, 2024, due to vacation schedules. There will be NO in-person or virtual Shabbat on these two dates.


  • On Friday, JULY 12, 2024 at 7:00 pm ET, we will hold a ZOOM VIRTUAL SHABBAT celebration service. There will be NO in-person Shabbat.


  • On Friday, JULY 26, 2024 at 7:00 pm ET, our regularly-scheduled weekly SHABBAT services (IN-PERSON and Virtual) will resume at 5859 Heritage Park Way, Delray Beach (and will continue every Friday evening).


  • On Friday, SEPTEMBER 6, 2024 at 7:00 pm ET, we will hold a very special SHABBAT for RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. This evening is part of a month-long national awareness campaign through synagogues into the current issues of women's rights, LGBQT+ rights, anti-Semitism, to name a few. This campaign is being promoted by Jews for a Secular Democracy and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.
