Backpack Blessings

Join us this Sunday, August 11th, for a special Backpack Blessing during our late service! As the new school year approaches, we invite all students to bring their backpacks to be blessed and start the year with encouragement and support.

Don't miss this meaningful moment—see you this Sunday! 

Anniversary Sunday 

Join us on August 25th for a special Anniversary Sunday at 2b as we come together to celebrate our community and faith. Enjoy a day filled with fellowship, worship, and delicious food. We’ll begin with a united worship service at 10:45 AM, followed by a church-wide potluck lunch at noon. The church will provide chicken and drinks. After lunch, children can enjoy fun water activities, so please remember to bring swimwear and towels.

Anniversary Sunday Schedule:

9:30 AM: Sunday School

10:45 AM: Worship Service

12:00 PM: Church-Wide Potluck Lunch

(Kids’ Water Activities After Lunch)

Potluck Dish Assignments:

To make our potluck a success, we ask everyone to bring a dish to share. Please bring the following based on your last name:

A – F: Salads

G – L: Casseroles

M – R: Desserts

S – Z: Bread/Rolls

Selection Committee:

The Vision and Leadership Team has created a Selection Committee to find an individual to serve Second B in Children’s Ministry. The committee includes Chase Dunn, Beth Burkhalter, Kacee Harvey, Cindy McBrayer, and Penni Pennington. Please pray for this committee, and more information will be shared soon.

Listening Session:

A VLT Listening Session is scheduled for Sunday, August 18th, at 2:00 p.m.
