ROUNDING OUT A YEAR OF PROSPERITY
The Scott + Cormia team is extremely fortunate to have experienced such a busy, prosperous year. Countless apartments, hotels, restaurants, offices, and even, entertainment attractions have come to fruition in 2018, thanks to our hardworking principals, architects and interior designers. Stay tuned for all of the equally incredible projects lined up for the new year!
Scott + Cormia Gives Back
Every year, the team pinpoints impactful charities to assist around the Central Florida community. This year's picks were Share-A-Meal for Ronald McDonald House at Florida Hospital and Canstruction Orlando.

The Share-A-Meal program aims to nourish the bodies and hearts of children and families receiving treatment at Florida Hospital. The team had a great time serving lunch and was humbled by the kindness that fills the Ronald McDonald House.

Canstruction Orlando is a design/build competition that utilizes canned and packaged foods to build innovative sculptures. After the build and judging segments of the competition, sculptures are carefully broken down and all proceeds go to Second Harvest Food Bank. This year's theme was birthdays! Canstruction turned 25 and celebrated a quarter decade of fighting hunger. The team had a blast participating, and our unicorn pinata scored a "Tiny But Mighty" award!
Wesley Chapel, A Red-Hot Market
The Tampa Bay Journal has described Wesley Chapel as, "one of the fastest growing areas in the country." "There is no shortage of developments coming," Hope Allen, president and CEO of the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce, said. "There is enough business for everyone."

The Scott + Cormia team has been fortunate enough to create beautiful designs for this city on the rise. Getting in at the ground level of innovation from a development and infrastructure standpoint is extremely rewarding. We are immensely proud of how the Wesley Chapel Hyatt Place turned out and look forward to continued success in the area!
It's a Coffee Drinker's World
Traveling 1,000 feet without encountering a coffee shop is almost impossible in today's world. But what differentiates the good from the bad in the ever-expanding world of lattes and cold brew?

Quality coffee beans and quality atmosphere. Foxtail Coffee Co. has both.

We love having an instrumental role in Foxtail's expansion around Central Florida. Each location is unique and provides our architects with new opportunities to innovate.
November welcomed Foxtail Coffee's first express location on Lee Road. Complete with a quaint back patio adorned with benches and string lights, this location accommodates both the on-the-go and sit-back-and-relax coffee drinker.
Foxtail's newest location in the Hourglass District boasts a special partnership with Leguminati to provide beer, wine and delicious vegan eats in conjunction with the usual, delicious coffee served.
What's up next? Another location near UCF! This Foxtail will have plenty of indoor seating and a drive-thru to accommodate a variety of student needs!
The Bainbridge Boom
The team has partnered with Bainbridge on countless multi-family projects around Florida this year. From Tampa to Orlando, we love to watch designs born out of a fruitful partnership take shape. The aerial shots below provide a snapshot of the awesome progress being made on the Ravaudage apartments in Winter Park.
Interior Home Runs
No one does interior renovations better than our in-house interior design team! Check out some of their most recent home runs below.
The Vernazza clubhouse now sports drop lighting, a vintage row boat and state-of-the-art game and fitness rooms thanks to our amazing team.
Feel like your office space is getting a bit out-dated? Hit up our interior design team for a comprehensive revamp! Our designers can infuse vitality into your everyday work environment with their avant-garde designs. The newly renovated VaxCare office serves as proof!

Warm Wishes from Ray & Matt
As we conclude 2018, it seems appropriate after 45 years in the Architecture business to count our blessings. With so much unrest in our country this year, it has, nonetheless, been a very good year at Scott + Cormia Architecture + Interiors. We grew over 100% this year, and our clients and staff are phenomenal. We are so humbled by the trust given to us and thank God for all his blessings. We are not exactly sure what 2019 will bring, but we will continue to strive to serve all those who put their confidence in us. Again, have a great holiday and we look forward to 2019 together!!
