Volume 12 Newsletter: Staying healthy for the holidays
Say Good Bye to 2017

It’s that time of year again. 2018 is right around the corner and that means so are New Year’s resolutions. Come January, gyms and health food stores will be full of people vowing to make 2018 the year they get healthy, exercise more and eat right.

Let’s set the bar higher and reach further because you got it in you! Stay positive, set realistic goals, finish what you start, meditate, surround yourself with like minded people, and last but not least help one another!
The holiday season is in full swing, which means parties and gatherings with an array of food choices. The good news is that there are definitely ways to keep the holiday season healthy while still taking part in the festivities and having fun!
We know that overloading on sugary treats and processed finger foods is harmful to our health. It can lead to fatigue, brain fog, and weight gain.

One of the best ways is to create your own healthier meals and treats to share with friends and family. You’ll be able to keep your healthy habits and inspire others too with your recipes!
Happy Holidays!

2017 is almost over, can you believe it? It seems as though the time is flying by.

We hope you are taking sometime to relax and re-charge this holiday. This is the time to reflect on how your health goals manifested in 2017 and adjust your strategy for 2018 if necessary.

World AIDS Day

Schools across the city honor this year's 29th annual World AIDS Day by organizing student events and activities that commemorate lives lost to the virus and celebrate strides made in HIV and AIDS prevention, testing, and treatment.
