Wow. Where do I begin? This year has been amazing for us all! You have helped WELA achieve significant success in its first year of operation. I hope through your experiences with WELA you've found new opportunities to use your unique talents in business and made some memorable and lasting connections with other WELA members to enjoy for years to come.

As you know, our business goals include not only creating wealth and promoting health, but also doing good for others. The holidays, in particular Christmas, remind us to share our wealth with those in need. I know that WELA has brought new wealth into many of your lives and will reach others in the near future. As we continue to grow the company, let's all remember this well-known passage from Luke 6:38, not only during the holidays but throughout the year, "Give, and it will be given to you."

We look forward to an even greater year in 2011 with lucrative partnerships, new programs, and a solid foundation for success. WELA is set for another year of unbelievable and unforgettable landmark achievements!

As we celebrate our successes in 2010 and look forward to those in 2011, I recall the many challenges that we have all overcome during our first year in business together. And one of the real joys of the holiday season is the opportunity to say Thank You for all that you do and to wish you the very best for the New Year. May you have the gift of faith, the blessing of hope, and the peace of His love at Christmas and always.

Wendy Royer - Master Distributor

Getting started with WELA

Wendy Royer, Master Distributor, began her career in network marketing six years ago. During that time she met John Penny, WELA's CEO & Co-Founder, through another network marketing business endeavor. When John decided to start WELA, he approached Wendy with the opportunity to join him in his new business venture. She decided to do so and has since successfully achieved the sought after title and position of WELA's Master Distributor.

Not only does Wendy have valuable experience in network marketing, she has exceptional skills in internet technology (IT). Having worked as a network administrator in IT for many years, Wendy utilized and honed a variety of beneficial skills that she regularly incorporates into her career at WELA. With this unique combination of career experience in technology and marketing, Wendy possesses the perfect skill set for training prospective members and existing members on the benefits of the WELA program and its products. She is able to draw upon her experience in staff training through her career in IT as well and uses her technology skills to benefit members of an internet-driven business such as WELA.

Training members on WELA programs and products is a key responsibility for Wendy. She quickly began conducting training sessions as she came on board with WELA. Since that time, she has continued to improve WELA's training program but also recognizes the importance of her role as a bridge to relationships within the organization as well as developing new relationships with those prospects still outside of the organization.

"WELA is a fully automated, turnkey business that has really worked for me. However, I have learned that I must develop stronger relationships within the organization as well as new relationships with prospective members. I have quickly discovered that it's easier to talk with people if they trust you and can believe in the information you are sharing with them. One of my goals is to develop new and lasting business relationships within WELA and to assist other WELA members in doing the same. Time and resources dedicated to training and relationship building are equally critical to your success in this business."

Success with WELA

"Anyone who wants to start a home-based business and be successful must continually and consistently set realistic goals for themselves."

Wendy decided to set an initial goal of purchasing a new, larger home for her family of seven when she started with WELA last March. She was dreaming of at least a 4,500-square-foot home which seemed like a lofty goal to her husband who has always commended her for having big dreams. Wendy was determined to make this dream come true and through her success with WELA she did. She surprised her husband with a visit to their dream home this past September, and they are now living in that beautiful new 4,500-square-foot home.

"It doesn't happen overnight but if you are dedicated to the business and you truly want to reach your goals, you can achieve anything. My husband and I always encourage our children with the concept that if you believe in yourself you can accomplish whatever you set out to do in life even become the President of the United States. It's the same with WELA. It doesn't matter what age you are or the amount of education or experience you have, you can succeed with WELA if you believe in it."

Wendy is open about the fact that she had some doubts and difficulty staying committed to the business in her first six months with the company, but with John Penny's encouragement and support, she pulled through those tough days and succeeded. Her enormous success proves that it's well worth the wait and the investment.

As Wendy firmly believes that consistent goal-setting is critical to your success with WELA or any business, she has already set her next goal. She is planning to take a weekend family vacation to one of the great adventure parks in Ohio. This family vacation includes not only her immediate family but extended family as well. Wendy is eager to meet her new goal and share her blessings with many loved ones as well.

Key responsibilities

As previously mentioned, one of Wendy's most important responsibilities with WELA is to train new and existing members on the company, its products, and tools. It is her personal goal to dramatically increase the number of people attending her training sessions. Wendy points out that these training sessions provide many benefits for WELA members including increased connectivity within the organization, improved relationship building skills, and guidance on best methods for taking advantage of the great business tools WELA has to offer.

Wendy welcomes members to join her as she conducts training sessions every other Wednesday evening and urges members to ask their questions as every attendee's question is answered during her sessions.

Leadership involves answering the difficult questions and its key to the success of a Master Distributor. This individual must recognize their role as a leader for the organization and its members and use it wisely to grow the business. Wendy attributes her success as a leader to being a sincere, down-to-earth individual who is eager to share her experience and knowledge for success with others in the business. She is known to be personable and approachable through her training sessions and communications with other WELA members.

Wendy recognizes that being a successful leader requires continuous practice and education in all areas of the business as well as techniques in relationship building. She would like to thank Dana Glover-Trenchfield and Ken Burwen for assisting her in her own growth as a leader. And she is eager to assist others in becoming leaders with WELA as she shares some tips for your own success below.

Tips for your own success

#1 - Get plugged in and stay plugged into the company through training sessions, conference calls, Webinars, your myWELA Back Office, and relationships with other team members. myWELA Back Office includes all kinds of information for success. You'll find all of the latest calls, Webinars, and training sessions you'll need to stay connected.

#2 - Set realistic goals and continue to set them consistently as you accomplish each one. Every time Wendy accomplishes a goal like purchasing her new home, for example, she sets a new goal.

#3 - Remember to utilize all of the tools that WELA offers. WELA even provides the assistance for locating viable prospects as members as well as closing those prospects for increased business.

#4 - Just because a conference call, Webinar, or training session doesn't work with your current schedule, doesn't mean that you cannot benefit from it. These calls and sessions are recorded for your convenience and use at any time.

#5 - Use a proven system for follow up. Wendy's system for tour-taker follow up is available through myWELA Back Office to anyone at WELA. Others at WELA use the affordable "Get Response" feature that sends out personalized messages to all of your tour-takers.

#6 - Practice is required for success in business whether it's in relationship building, leadership skills, or time management. Find new and creative ways to improve your skills.

# 7 - Don't get discouraged! In the beginning with WELA, Wendy was spending more money than she was making but soon realized huge success as she continued to dedicate her resources and efforts to the business.

WELA Partners with UPS
UPS LogoUPS Mail Innovations

WELA is partnering with UPS to improve the overall service and delivery of our products. We will utilize the UPS Mail Innovations program for all shipments of the NEW Slimberry 2 oz. bottle beginning December 1, 2010.

UPS Mail Innovations is a high-volume mailing service offering increased efficiency and effectiveness in every aspect of delivery from postal costs to time in transit to packaging labor. The program is a smart partnership between UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS) where services rely on the extensive network and unique work share program that UPS has with USPS. UPS technology reduces handling, speeds up processing, and improves accuracy when completing typical USPS functions which results in quicker delivery of product.

WELA will streamline its shipping process through this program which works seamlessly as UPS picks up the packages directly from our offices in Springfield, Missouri, and ships them to one of their distribution centers. From the distribution center, they transfer the packages to the post office nearest to the end destination. Then USPS delivers the packages to their final destination. The Mail Innovations program shortens and optimizes our overall shipping process and delivery time.

The process is similar for International shipments with the same level of outstanding speed and service as that for domestic shipments. UPS picks up the packages from our offices and delivers them to a distribution center in New York. From New York, UPS transfers the packages to one of five postal services for international shipments. Then USPS transports the packages to their final destination. The UPS Mail Innovations program averages 4-8 days for first class international service. This is a substantial decrease in delivery time, and an enormous win for our internationally-based distributor.

Our NEW 2 oz. Slimberry bottle ships via WELA's new partnership with UPS beginning December 1st! The cost for the new, larger bottle will remain the same as the small bottle. Improved delivery through UPS will cost just $6.95 within the US and $9.95 for international shipping.

WELA removed the potassium sorbate, a preservative, from the ingredients of the new formula to provide customers with an all natural product. Our old, smaller bottle formula allowed customers to take one dropper full once or twice daily. The new formula allows one dropper full two to three times per day.
