Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Storm Preparedness

With hurricane season underway, our dedicated Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Staff has been working diligently to ensure that our community is well-prepared for any weather-related challenges that may come our way.

Over the past few months, our team has been focused on a series of comprehensive stormwater repairs and improvements. These efforts are aimed at enhancing our drainage systems to handle the potentially heavy rainfall that hurricane season can bring. From clearing out debris-clogged drains to inspecting storm control structures, every detail has been carefully addressed.

One of the major tasks undertaken by our Maintenance Department is the inspection and upkeep of 89 acres of Sea Pines CSA's managed lagoons. A recent project, before and after pictures shown below, involved removing sediment that had accumulated at the bottom of the lagoon near Greenwood Lane. This effort not only preserves the lagoon stormwater capacity but also improves the aesthetic of the community.

Be Prepared This Hurricane Season

Prepare Your Home, Build Your Emergency Kit: You can take steps to minimize the loss of life or property during a hurricane. Ensure you have your disaster supplies while the shelves are still stocked, and don’t forget to review your insurance policy early, especially considering flood insurance typically has a 30-day waiting period.
