Walls are being painted, and lights are being installed! The floors on the main level are being prepped for installation, and new floors have been installed in our second-floor YOUmedia space.


Changes are happening quickly, and we will continue to update you weekly until we open our Main Street doors this fall!

Empower and Educate: Voter Literacy in Hartford

Your vote matters, visit your Library to register to vote today!


HPL received a generous donation for our Empower and Educate: Voter Literacy in Hartford program from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. HPL is conducting voter awareness and education activities with community partners across our system to help increase bilingual voter engagement, participation, and voter registration in Hartford. HPL is hosting voter registration drives through the end of October.

A two-day bookish event!


HPL is partnering with H.L.I.T. to co-host the sixth Annual Hartford Book Festival.

 

This FREE annual event offers literary activities for the Greater Hartford community. This year's festival theme is; Penning & Reading More in 2024. Attendees can experience booksellers, unique vendors, literary panels, free workshops, family friendly activities, literary networking, live performances, raffles, book giveaways, and more.
