Kari Glenn Honored by ICEARY with 2024 Excellence in Education Award


We are proud to share that Kari Glenn, Youth Outreach team member, is the winner of the 2024 Excellence in Education Award through the Illinois Coalition for Education At-Risk Youth (ICEARY).


This honor recognizes the exemplary service of an individual dedicated to helping at-risk youth. The work of Kari and our entire Youth Outreach team is vital part of our efforts to ensuring every student in Kane County has access to quality education.

We are excited to honor Kari at the 2024 ICEARY Conference in Normal, Illinois this weekend!

48th Annual Educator of the Year

Nomination Deadline Approaching!


There's only a few days left to submit your nominations for Educator of the Year 2024! The deadline is this Friday, March 8.


Nominees should be passionate and skillful individuals in any Kane County school, public or private, PreK-12, who are planning to continue an active role in education.

School district representatives and nominees are cordially invited to a formal dinner on Friday, May 3, at the Q Center (1405 North Fifth Ave., St. Charles, IL).


Social hour begins at 5:30pm with dinner being served at 6:30pm. Tickets are available beginning April 1st through local district offices.

Juvenile Justice Center Educators Join Select Group of Honorees Across Illinois


Our dedicated team at the Juvenile Justice Center was recently honored among the state's top educators by ISBE as part of its annual Those Who Excel Awards.


We congratulate Ivars Spalis (Principal), Sharon Arient (Science Instructor), Steve Siar (Math Instructor, Precious Wade (Social Studies Instructor), and Shana Wang (English Instructor) for receiving the Award of Meritorious Service and for making a positive impact on those they serve.
