Thank You for Your Students’ Voices:
Stay Tuned for 2018 School Wellness Campaign Contest Winners
This year's School Wellness Campaign Contest closed on 3/26, and we are so excited to read, watch, and listen to the hundreds of student entries we received – from artwork to videos, touching spoken word, and even a few app designs! We look forward to promoting across the City our students’ messages about the importance of physical activity, physical education, health education, mental health support, and diversity and inclusion.

As we work to revitalize Physical and Health Education in every school, there is no better time than now to listen to our students tell us what is important to them. A big thank you to each teacher, school administrator, parent, School Wellness Council member, and school community partner who encouraged a student to participate in our contest.

As a reminder, winning designs will appear in the 2018-19 School Wellness calendar, on the DOE website and social media, and in other DOE materials in late summer. Check our contest web page in the coming weeks for this year's winners!
