During the meeting, the board heard reports from staff on personnel, conference participation, athletics, 2024-25 enrollment projections, and school/council.
The board received a report from Douglas Peters of Environmental Health Management providing results from a site visit conducted on May 20, 2024. Mr. Peters attended the meeting to answer board member questions and indicated carbon dioxide (CO2) levels were within acceptable norms during the investigation. Mr. Peters detected zero carbon monoxide (CO) levels during his site visit.
The board approved monthly consent items, insurances, job descriptions, fee schedules, lunch prices, class sizes, a tentative budget and salary schedules.
Notable items included in the budget for fiscal year 2025:
- 2% raise for classified, certified, and substitute staff
